Carambolã

Carambola star-fruit cocktail

The smooth flavor of the carambola (starfruit) can match a lot of other flavors. Besides tasting very good, this fruit is very decorative due to its star shape. But be careful: carambola contains oxalic acid, which can be very harmful to those with kidney problems.

In a cocktail shaker:
• 2 parts of carambola juice with mint (blend these with water and sugar)
• 1 part of vodka
• 1 part of lime
• Ice

>> 1 carambola cut to garnish
>> Mint to garnish

O sabor suave da carambola combina com vários outros sabores. Além de ser bem gostosa, essa fruta é bem decorativa devido ao seu formato de estrela. Mas cuidado: a carambola contem ácido oxálico, que é prejudicial para quem tem problemas de rim.

Numa coqueteleira:
• 2 partes de suco de carambola com hortelã (bata no liquidificador com água e açúcar)
• 1 parte de vodka
• 1 parte de limão
• Gelo

>> 1 corte de carambola para decorar
>> Hortelã para decorar
