Sweet Moai

I’ve never tried pisco before and now I’m in love with it! My friend Élcio gave me a Capel Moai Reserve, a chilean pisco from Capel, whose bottle is shaped like a moai statue. This drink is made from muscatel pisco grapes and aged in american oak. I’ve made two cocktails using pisco, both with the same base, but with different fruits. One is made from blackberries and black plum and the other one from pear and pineapple.

Eu nunca havia experimentado pisco antes e agora estou apaixonado!

Base of the recipe

In a cocktail shaker:
• 2 ounces of Pisco Capel
• 6 ouces of juice*
• 1/2 ounce of lime
• 3 coffee spoons of sugar

* Two juices for two cocktails: blackberry with black plum juice or pear with pineapple juice. Both sweetened.

Base da receita

Numa coqueteleira:

• 3 doses de suco*
• 1/3 dose de limão
• 3 colheres (das de café) de açúcar
