Le Sure Vert

immature mango

Unripe mango can provide nice cocktails too. Unlike the ripe one, this mango tastes sour and matches mint perfectly. Thanks Lenir for this amazing recipe.

In a cocktail shaker:
• 2 ounces white rum
• 4 ounces unripe mango juice with mint*
• 2 coffee spoons of sugar
• Ice
* To prepare the juice, blend together 1 unripe mango, 25 ounces of water, a bit of mint leaves and sugar. I prefer with lots of unripe mango, a few mint leaves and sweeter than usual.

>> Garnish with mango and mint leaves.

A manga verde também pode fazer grandes coquetéis. Diferentemente da manga madura, a verde tem sabor azedo e combina muito bem com hortelã. Obrigado, Lenir, por esta ótima receita.

Numa coqueteleira:
• 1 dose de rum branco
• 2 doses de suco de manga verde com hortelã*
• 2 colheres (das de café) de açúcar
• Gelo
* Para preparar o suco, bata no liquidificador 1 manga verde, 750 ml de água, poucas folhas de hortelã e açúcar. Eu prefiro muita manga verde, um pouco de hortelã e um pouco mais adoçado que o normal.

>> Decore com manga e folhas de hortelã.

A manga não pode ser muito verde. O ideal é quase madura, como na foto abaixo.
